Louisiana Public Time Frames Sworn statement of its claim within 45 days of recordation of acceptance of the work or notice of default. Action must be brought against the surety/contractor within one year from recordation of acceptance of work or notice of contractor’s default. Contracts less then $5,000 are excluded from bond requirements. Amount of Bond: Not less than 50% of contract amount.
